The statistics we see now, say that 1 in 133 people have Celiac Disease. These are the people that have been given the diagnosis, how many more have it and don't yet realize it ? Those of us with Celiac Disease, or gluten intolerance at any level, need to be especially careful when dining out. If you decide to go out to eat, you want it to be a fun, enjoyable occasion. A little ground work will be in order and this list can help. You will need to go to the websites of the restaurants that don't have a direct link to a viewable menu. After reaching their site - you can then download a printable menu of their Gluten Free options. Many of the sites we have listed below, thankfully do have a Gluten Free menu we can view online. Just click on any of the links below, for the Gluten free restaurants or restaurants with alternative menus listed. Remember (cross contamination issues ), if you are highly sensitive, you will want to avoid the fried or grilled food. You can ask if they prepare food in a strict gluten free environment. There will be very few restaurants that do this. A note: Keep in mind, some of the restaurants listed on this gluten free restaurants guide, may have opened a new restaurant in certain states very recently. Places open and close all the time. So be sure and check to see if one has opened very recently in your area. Their area is limited to - DC, MD and Virginia, you can click here to check out their gluten free menu. Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano : They say they have gluten free pastas available. I would call ahead and check with your local restaurant. Locations : CO, IA, IL, IN, MN, NE, NC, NY, UT, WI. They also have a pretty good selection and a downloadable menu is available. Click here for the downloadable Gluten Free menu. Bonefish Grill : This restaurant is an affiliate of Outback Steakhouse and has restaurants in most states. They have a Gluten Free downloadable menu available. Just click here. Boston Market : You can click here for their gluten free menu. Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse : In a limited area : CT, DE, GA, MA, MD,ME, NH, NY, PA, RI. They have a downloadable menu. Just click here. Carrabas Italian Grill : This is another affiliate of Outback Steakhouse.They are in most of the states. They have a gluten free menu in cooperation with the Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG). Click here for their downloadable menu. Charlie Brown's Steakhouse : Limited locations : NJ, NY,PA. You have to make your own substitutions, for the most part. You can click here for the menu. Cheeseburger in Paradise : They don't have gluten free buns...., but they do have a gluten free menu. You have to "leave off bun", etc. I would ask for a substitution. They have locations in: FL, GA, IL, KS, MD, NE, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, SC ,VA, WI Chili's : They have a downloadable list of gluten free suggestions and their list changes monthly. Fresh City : Check out their menu here. A limited area of locations in: CT, MA, NH, NJ ,RI . Legal Seafood : Here is a link to their frequently asked question page, which states that each restaurant has a Gluten Free menu available upon request. They have locations in: DC, FL, MA, MD, NH, PA, RI, VA. Lonestar Steakhouse: The Lonestar steakhouse does have a downloadable menu for Gluten free selections available. Ironically, we don't see a location in the 'Lonestar State' - Texas. On The Border : Serves most all states , even Alaska and many Canadian Provinces. Their menu changes monthly. There is a box that says at the top "Additional Information" and below that , you can click on "Nutritional Info" or "Allergen Info". Outback Steakhouse : They have a downloadable menu. They are, as you probably already know, in most all states. You can click here to download. Pasta Pomodoro : They have a downloadable gluten free menu. Locations in CA, and AZ. Just click to see and download. P. F. Chang's China Bistro : Serves most, but not all states. ( No locations ) that I could find in the following. . . . MA, MT, ND, SD, NH, WY, WV. The Old Spaghetti Factory : You can check out their gluten free menu here. At the bottom it says it is not a gluten free establishment, and some cross contamination may occur. Jamba Juice: Adrian, my youngest son, is wild over this place! Notice his big smile on a recent visit. All their smoothies are gluten free , except for "Heart Defender". They're delicious too! Keep in mind that although the smoothies may be 'Gluten Free' they will contain quite a bit of natural sugars from the fruits.
