Those of us with Celiac Disease, need to be especially careful when dining out. If you decide to go out to eat, you want it to be an enjoyable occasion. Be sure to do a little research and make your plans ahead of time. Remember to check this popular gluten free restaurants guide. Remember cross contamination issues, if you are highly sensitive, you will want to avoid the fried or grilled food. You can ask if they prepare food in a strict gluten free environment. There will be very few restaurants that do this. Carrabas Italian Grill : This is another affiliate of Outback Steakhouse.They are in most of the states. They have a gluten free menu in cooperation with the Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG). Cheeseburger in Paradise : They don't have gluten free buns...., but they do have a gluten free menu. You have to "leave off bun", etc. I would ask for a substitution.
