Almonds Nutritional Values for Your Health

The following is a quote from Raw Food World site regarding almonds :

"Raw Food Pioneer, Dr. Norman Walker says: Eating nuts is our greatest source of concentrated proteins and fats. Almonds, when fresh, raw unsalted, are the most alkaline of all nuts, being particularly valuable as nourishment for the bone structure of the body, and especially for strengthening the enamel of the teeth."

"He goes on to say that almonds which have been pasteurized are harmful because of the change which takes place in the fat under these conditions. The reaction on the liver and gall bladder is then detrimental and may sooner or later interfere with the complete and proper function of these organs."

Raw food world gets their almonds from Carmel - Sonoma. They are able to get the almonds that are TRULY Raw and un-pasteurized. Almond growers are allowed to sell 100 pounds of Raw Unpasteurized almonds each day and they take advantage of this "loophole". Their almonds are from this year's crop and are extremely fresh and tasty. They have received the highest grading in the US - #1. They are very strict with their suppliers in making sure that they send them the highest quality product possible.

Almonds nutritional values are at their highest concentration when eaten raw. Why not start with the absolute best almonds? We believe the almonds at Raw Food World to be the absolute highest quality out there.

But I have to admit, not only do we eat them raw, but lightly toasted with a bit of Celtic Sea Salt. Sometimes we will put in various flavors, almonds go well with most any spice or flavor you prefer.

We also use Almond Flour which is delicious added to any recipe of baked goods. We find this at Gluten-Free.com.
