: Like Vitamin C , Vitamin D is a sunshine vitamin. Vitamin D is manufactured in your body when you are exposed to sunlight. But some people living in the more Northern latitudes , especially in the wintertime may not have nearly enough time in the sun to build up the amount of Vitamin D you need. Vitamin D is needed , along with Calcium, so that your body is able to absorb and use the Calcium to help strenghten and build strong bones and teeth. Naturally Vitamins Wobenzym'N -
This natural enzyme formula contains, pancreatin, bromelain, papain and other natural enzymes, including trypsin and chymotrypsin.It's backed by over 30 years research. We started using this formula a few years ago with great results. My husband and I noticed a big reduction of pain in the joints as well as muscle pain reduction. Start slowly with this formula, because as it breaks down the areas of inflammation, you need to flush your system of the by-products. Astragalus Root -

- The plant is one of the oldest used medicinally, dating to about 200 BC. It was known even then to balance the body systems and especially good for the lungs and spleen. A lot of the scientific data on astragalus comes from Chinese clinical evidence, where astragalus appears to stimulate the immune system in patients with infections. At least one clinical trial has shown astragalus to boost T-cell levels close to normal in some cancer patients, suggesting the possibility of a synergistic effect of astragalus with chemotherapy. Not often used by medical doctors in the U.S., but commonly used in Japan and China, where doctors use it to protect patients from the side-effects of chemo.It is a very beneficial herb. We take this to help boost our immune systems and for healthy liver function.

Cinnamon Extract -

A recent study in the Diabetes Care journal has revealed that the ingestion of approximately half teaspoon of cinnamon every day can reduce the level of blood sugar in those with type 2 diabetes. Oil of Oregano -

Oregano oil is great for gastrointestinal and respiratory support and healing. It also helps with any urinary tract problem. Along with Cranberry Juice and, a good healthy diet. To fight Yeast/Candida/Fungus, and bacterial infections, we use a few drops under the tongue several times a day. You would need to pierce the capsule for this - or get the drops. You need to experiment with this - for tolerance levels.

Our consultant for this website, recommends this for times when you are concerned about insects bites, West Nile and Malaria or similar problems. Artemisinin is also known as (Sweet Wormwood). An insignificant seeming insect bite can escalate into all kinds of nasty problems, depending on the insect, of course. But even something like an ant or flea bite can flare up dormant health problems throughout your system. Artemisinin is so effective for health concerns involving the immune system that now demand is out stripping supply. I take it all summer long. It's a good idea to take a week or two off and then start it up again if you think you need it. We keep a bottle in the cabinet for ALL seasons. You never know when you may need it.

Echinacea Goldenseal Complex -

They work together. Proven immune system boosters. Great to take during cold and flu season or any time you think you may be exposed to any virus.

Coriander/Cilantro -

This herb helps to cleanse and remove toxins. It also gives Cardio support and fights free radicals.

Hawthorn -

I use this to relax and tone the blood vessels and to help me keep my blood pressure at healthy levels. It is used for cardiovascular health.

Fenugreek Extract -

For respiratory function and health. It also helps loosen mucus. You can take in capsule form , or open the capsule and put in water for a nice cup of hot tea. We add Grade B maple syrup and a little Organic lemon juice. Very soothing , it really helps . Promotes healthy blood sugar levels. Helps maintain cholesterol levels already in the healthy range Standardized for 50% saponins. Keep away from pets ! - it can lower blood sugar to (dangerous levels in small dogs), for instance.

Chamomile Flower Extract -

This flower can sooth the nerves of adults and children too. You can take it in capsule form, or like so many of the herbs, you can open the capsule into water and serve as a delicious tea. Great during times of stress or nervousness and in the evenings.

Supplements List Note: With any Homeopathic formula or remedy ~ don't use ~ Peppermint - Coffee - or Alcohol. Any of these will reduce or negate the desired effect.




MISCELLANEOUS HELPFUL PRODUCTS

Coconut Oil

We use LOTS of Coconut Oil. Coconut oil can be used for cooking and in place of butter. It has NO trans fats and supports your immune system - tastes fantastic too.
Note:Coconut oil is very versatile too! We use it as a skin moisturizer and you can put a little on your hair before you shampoo. I put a plastic cap over my hair after applying for about 10 minutes. Then shampoo out. you can take Coconut Oil , put in a bowl with Organic Grade B Maple Syrup and Organic Cinnamon and a little Bee Pollen. (If you would prefer, you can use a bit of liquid Stevia in place of the Maple Syrup). Blend together with a mixer or food processor. Keep whipping until fluffy and put it in a glass jar. No need to refrigerate . Spread on raisin toast or whatever you like. Delicious .

Premium Flaxseed -

We use this everyday. It gets sprinkled liberally on toast - anything you eat, you can put flaxseed meal on. It tastes good and will help reduce inflammation and help to regulate your digestive system. Can help lower cholesterol.

Colloidal Silver -

Colloidal Silver is what we consider to be the ultimate anti-biotic, anti-virus.It is one thing that is still effective in combating infections as well as viruses. We are grateful that it is still available for us to use. It is versatile. You can take it by mouth or use in a nasal wash for sinusitis, nasal fungus , etc. ( BE SURE TO DILUTE) Keep in mind, if you decide to use it internally , you will need to increase your Probiotics and Soil based organisms as well as acidophilus to keep your digestive system running smoothly and efficiently.
